Although the cells with or without LLZTO layers exhibit similar voltage profiles during the first cycling, the voltage of routine pouch cells (cyan line) starts to diverge at around 700 hours, indicating the Li dendrite growth and the consumption of electrolytes. Moreover, a longer life span can be expected for pouch cells with larger capacity after further optimizations such as using liquid electrolyte additives and modifying LLZTO layer thickness.
